Play mat “Alphabet”

How to play:
1. Examine the rug, name the letters depicted on the pockets.
2. Pick up a wooden die with a picture, determine the sound from which the given word begins, and pick up the corresponding pocket with the letter.
3. Do the same with objects that are at hand: pen, pencil, eraser, felt-tip pen, ruler, paper clip, badge. Sort these items by letter pockets.
4. Cut your favorite pictures from magazines and sort them by pocket.
5. Play the store. Sort wooden dies:
Grocery store – watermelon, peas, yogurt, carrots, bread, cheese, apple.
Pet shop – butterfly, beetle, hedgehog, hare, raccoon, cat, owl, octopus, duckling, rooster, fish, turtle.
Toy store – helicopter, house, watering can, phone, camera, ball, yule, excavator.
